Our flight is scheduled to land very late, basically in the middle of the night. Well be staying far south, so could you recommend where to book a reliable taxi? We really dont want to be stuck in the terminal with tired kids after a long flight, trying to hitch a ride or overpay local drivers for the night rate.

Are the official transfer desks at the airport open that late, or will everything be closed? Is there a reliable online app where we can book a car in advance, so the driver is guaranteed to be waiting for us at the exit regardless of the hour or possible flight delays?

Last year, my wife and I landed around 3 a.m. and waited forever for a taxi near the airport because there were so many people and not enough cars. We were angry, hungry, and desperate to sleep. According to the website, a taxi from Fuerteventura Airport to Jandia costs between 50 and 70 euros. We took a chance and booked a car through them to Playa de Cofete, and everything went great. We took the same ride back to the airport later.
