Both materials should be handled carefully. If you are still changing builds frequently, it may be better to save them until your equipment choices become more stable.

Crafting resources become much more valuable when you have a clear target rather than when you are experimenting.

Tuning Prisms Make Crafting More Precise

One of the useful aspects of Tuning Prisms is the additional control they provide. Protector's Tuning Prisms can target defensive affix categories, making them useful for armor pieces where Life or Resistance matters.

Pragmatic Tuning Prisms are aimed at Mobility and Utility categories. For a character that relies heavily on movement, getting the right stat on Boots or an Amulet can have a meaningful impact on gameplay.

Resourceful Tuning Prisms focus on Resource stats, while Adept and Offensive Prisms can support offensive goals. Weapons and gloves are often among the most important places to pursue these improvements.

Rather than using every Prism immediately, I prefer to save them until I have an item that already looks strong enough to justify targeted crafting.

Resplendent Sparks are another material that rewards patience. If you are working toward a specific Mythic Unique, spending Sparks without a plan can slow down your progress toward that goal.

Mythic Seals and Charms can also be worth keeping when duplicates appear. Depending on how you use the Horadric Cube, extra copies may have value instead of simply becoming clutter.

This is one reason why experienced players often keep a larger stash than newer players expect. The extra materials may look unnecessary today, but they can become useful when a rare upgrade opportunity appears.

Store Your Best Legendary Aspects

A high-roll Legendary Aspect should generally be treated as a long-term asset. If you extract and preserve a strong version in the Codex of Power, you can use it later when the correct item finally drops.

This prevents a common problem: finding a perfect base but not having the right Aspect available for it.

I would rather keep a maximum-roll Aspect unused for a while than put it onto equipment that is almost certain to be replaced. Once your gear becomes highly optimized, the value of those saved rolls becomes much clearer.

Spend Materials Only on Real Candidates

The easiest way to waste crafting resources is to upgrade everything. Endgame gear does not require every item to be perfect immediately. Instead, you want to recognize which drops are worth building around.

Check the base, Greater Affixes, existing stats, and compatibility with your build. If several important pieces already look strong, then investing your rare materials can make sense. Otherwise, keep farming and preserve your stockpile.
